This unit, centered on a fable by Jean de la Fontaine, is for beginning students who have studied French for at least a semester and can express their likes and dislikes, their wants and needs, and exchange basic personal information such as name, age, nationality, and origin. It is not necessary for the students to understand every word or verb tense in the poem. The includes everything you need to take it into the classroom:
